The Journey to Accomplishment

As a photographer, I create fine art. I sell my art on my fine art website and local festivals and events. When a collector places an order I never get to see or hear their thoughts about the art that I create. When I am at a festival or event I get to interact with the person purchasing the art and there is a sense of satisfaction to know what they are thinking about the piece that I have created but I never get to see the artwork on their walls.

Lately, I have been photographing in a realm that I have never taken on before. Food photography is the art of photographing food for an audience to determine what they would like to eat or advertisement of a particular food. This has been a new and fun challenge.

The one thing I can say is the sense of satisfaction has grown to a sense of accomplishment. When I click on their website I get to see my creations for the world to see and it is an amazing feeling!!

I get to say to myself, I took that photo. Someone just decided to order that item based on the photograph that I have taken. Wow. Even though my artwork is displayed at Picture Perfect Things its not the same.

I can only imagine how an artist feels when their artwork is on a billboard or television or in a store. But I intend to find out. I love this feeling! And yes, I frequent those websites just to see my work being viewed by the world.

Public Taco A hidden gem in a big city. Festively decorated restaurant, super staff, and attractive outdoor seating. Everything I tried was great but the churros definitely my favorite!

Fit Juice Bar If you are looking for a healthy snack with all the needed protein for your diet and good stuff for your digestion...this is a must check out.

D'oh Nuts You have to admit that Elmo is super cute with his perfect expression! The creativity that goes into their donuts is amazing!
